We have already got more than 50 predictions for the World Cup race on Saturday! Set up your predictions for the Top 5 at WhoWins at WorldofXC.com. New: You can now change your predictions all the way up to the first start at 10:15 CET.

Some information about the race:

  • Northug, Hjelmeset and Saarinen are back in the World Cup circus for Davos
  • Teichmann and Filbrich do not participate in Davos due to illness
  • Vincent Vittoz is still not well from his injury – and is not starting in Davos
  • Davos is tricky because of the altitude of around 1500 meters – making the results a bit different from many other races
  • Two years ago was the last time there was a classic 15 km race in Davos – that time Johan Olsson, Axel Teichmann and Sami Jauhojärvi were on top among the men and Virpi Kuitunen, Aino-Kaisa Saarinen and Marit Bjørgen among the women
  • The Swiss are usually good in Davos, but Dario Cologna has the result series of 52-41-8-31 in Davos sine 2007
  • The Norwegians have typically not been good in the distance races in Davos – Northug finishing 21st last year on the 15km and Bjørgen never being on top there in the individual World Cup races
